About Engaged
Engaged is a local bride + vendor matchmaking service. We are experts on the wedding planning process and also have deep knowledge about local venues, vendors, artists, and creatives. We meet with engaged couples and learn as much as we can about their unique wedding vision. While guiding them through the wedding planning process through a series of wedding planning meetings (Engaged 101, 201, 301, & 401), we connect them with our group of vetted local vendors to help them create a custom vendor team. We operate on the premise that is you have a great vendor team, you will have a great wedding

Meet your Engaged Sales Team
We consider ourselves cheerleaders, educated advocates, and an off-site sales team for our vendor partners. We learn as much as we can about each vendor including current pricing, packages, and a description of their ideal bride. This allows us to be effective matchmakers when we are connecting brides to our vendors.

01. Brides know our vendors are legit
Engaged vendor partners are added by invitation only and go through a vetting process. This is key to maintaining our reputation as a trusted source for brides to find qualified vendors. Brides know that we have already done the hard work so they trust us to match them to vendors. Once they experience the awesomeness of our vendor group, they become completely loyal to booking with Engaged vendors. (Brides also LOVE the vendor perks)
02. We get you directly in front of Brides
From the quaint and convenient studio located in East Cobb, the Librarian will meet with new and returning brides every week. Brides are educated on wedding vendor costs, given an overview of the planning process, plugged into a system to keep their planning on track, and connected to Engaged’s group of vetted vendor partners based on their unique needs. Brides leave Engaged more informed, less stressed, with custom vendor connections, and a plan for their next steps.
03. We offer multiple places for you to be seen
Our vendors are represented at the Library through direct referrals, have a profile on EngagedAtlanta.com, can choose to participate in The Engaged Collective, get shout-outs on our social media, and are featured in The Engaged Handbook. This allows them to be seen in all the places where brides are looking while stretching valuable marketing dollars.

Our Robust Website
Our website is created to make a local wedding planning research a breeze. Brides can schedule an appointment with the Librarian, purchase her Library Membership, watch informative wedding planning videos, and swoon over our Real Engaged Weddings. The most popular part of our site is our Vendor Collection where brides can view and contact all of our vendor partners.
The In-Person Library
The Library, located 5 minutes from Sandy Springs, is where we meet with couples in-person, via Zoom, or phone call. Each vendor has a file cubby with their name on it. We use the cubbies as a visual display of our vendor collection. Vendors may also reserve our private conference room for a quiet place to host client meetings.
The Engaged Handbook
The Engaged Handbook serves as an easy-to-use planning tool to keep brides inspired, informed, and connected to our vendor partners. Referred to as a “wedding keepsake” and “the Bride’s Bible,” it includes special gifts, a friendly tone, and helpful advice. Custom vendor features are thoughtfully created to represent the business’ brand while maintaining the design integrity of the publication.
Engaged Collective Planning Events
For more than 10 years, we have been hosting bridal events with both the bride’s experience and the vendors’ goals in mind. Our planning events have a “boutique, intimate vibe” that allows for better conversations and connections. The brides in attendance are familiar with Engaged and come to meet our curated group of vendors. We use a highly targeted marketing approach in order to attract our ideal brides.

Engaged Matchmaker is a custom search engine software that was built for our team to help them better direct couples to local venues. It allows us to quickly match couples to venues that fit their style, budget, guest count, and any other unique needs that they share with us!

About the Founder, Stephanie Whitaker
Steph has taken her passion for weddings and turned it into one of the southeast’s top local planning resources - focused on serving both brides and their vendors. She began her career as an accountant and, in 2007, she decided to follow her heart and launch a wedding magazine. A few months later she started what has today become, Engaged Wedding Library.
Steph has worked with hundreds of local wedding professionals and thousands of brides over her 15-year wedding career. Today her team serves over 100 local vendors and 300 brides annually. The goal at Engaged is to match each unique bride to the perfect team of wedding vendors.
When she’s not helping brides plan their perfect day, she’s traveling with her husband, at the local ballpark watching her daughter dance or son play, or walking her Maltipoo “Minnie” around the block.
